Using the ashtray
During a journey:
place the closed ashtray in the front door stowage compartment while the vehicle is in motion. Check that it is secure.
Comply with the notes on loading the vehicle More.
To open:
fold lid 
upwards. Twist the top part of the ashtray to remove it for cleaning, e.g. with clean, lukewarm water, or for emptying.
