If the socket flap cannot be opened due to a malfunction, an emergency release of the socket flap can be performed for the charging process.

Remove button of the emergency release from the load compartment trim on the side.

Pull emergency release button in the direction of the arrow.

The socket flap of the vehicle socket swings open.

Insert button back in the load compartment trim.
