Opening or closing the stowage space under the load compartment floor
WARNING Risk of injury due to an open load compartment floor
If you drive with the load compartment floor open, objects could be flung around and hit vehicle occupants as a result. There is a risk of injury, particularly in the event of sudden braking or a sudden change in direction.
Always close the load compartment floor before a journey.
Opening
Holding the ribbing, press handle 
downward

Swing the load compartment floor upward using handle and hold it in place.

Pull rod 
from the bracket on the underside of the load compartment floor and turn it as far as it will go.

Position rod in the corner of load compartment floor

Remove rod from the corner of load compartment floor .
from the corner of load compartment floor . Fasten rod to the bracket on the underside of the load compartment floor.

Press the load compartment floor down until it engages.
