Replacing the windscreen wiper blades
WARNING Risk of becoming trapped if the windscreen wipers are switched on while wiper blades are being replaced
If the windscreen wipers begin to move while you are changing the wiper blades, you can be trapped by the wiper arm.
Always switch off the windscreen wipers and vehicle before changing the wiper blades.
Moving the wiper arms into the replacement position
Switch the vehicle on and then off again immediately.
Within around 15 seconds, press and hold the 
button on the combination switch for approximately three seconds More.

Removing the wiper blades
Fold the wiper arms away from the windscreen.
Hold the wiper arm with one hand. With the other hand, turn the wiper blade away from the wiper arm in the direction of arrow

. Remove the wiper blade from the wiper arm in the direction of arrow

. Fitting the wiper blades
Push the new wiper blade onto the wiper arm in the direction of arrow until release knob engages.
until release knob engages. Make sure that the wiper blade is seated correctly.
Fold the wiper arms back onto the windscreen.
Switch on the vehicle.
Press the button on the combination switch.

Switch off the vehicle.
Check the condition of the wiper blades regularly and replace them in the event of visible damage or ongoing smearing.
Maintenance display
There is a maintenance display at the tip of the newly mounted wiper blade.
Remove protective film from the maintenance display.
from the maintenance display. When the colour of the maintenance display changes from black to yellow, the wiper blades should be replaced.
