Securing a Top Tether

Vehicles with electrically adjustable rear bench seats:
If you adjust the seat after fitting a child restraint system, the following may occur:
the seat belt may either sit too loose or too tight
the child restraint system can become loose, incorrectly positioned or damaged
As a result, the child restraint system may not be able to provide the intended level of protection.
Never adjust the seat after fitting the child restraint system.
If the child restraint system is equipped with a Top Tether belt:
The risk of injury can be reduced by a Top Tether. The Top Tether belt facilitates an additional connection between the child restraint system attached with ISOFIX or i‑Size and the vehicle.
