Operating the rear seat via the memory function in the rear passenger compartment

WARNING Risk of entrapment when setting the seat with the memory function

When the memory function adjusts the seat, you and other vehicle occupants – particularly children – could become trapped.

During the adjustment process of the memory function, make sure that no one has any body parts in the sweep of the seat.

If someone becomes trapped, press a preset position button or seat adjustment switch immediately.

WARNING Risk of entrapment if the memory function is activated by children

Children could become trapped if they activate the memory function, particularly when unattended.

Never leave children unattended in the vehicle.

When leaving the vehicle, always take the key with you and lock the vehicle.

Storing

Press button

The rear seat is selected if the indicator lamp in the button does not light up.

Adjust the rear seat using the buttons in the door control panel More.

Example: vehicles without a reclining rear seat

Press the

button and then release it.

Vehicles without reclining rear seat: press one of the preset position buttons

within three seconds.

The settings are stored.

Vehicles with reclining rear seat: press one of the preset position buttons

within three seconds.

The settings are stored.

Vehicles with reclining rear seat: you cannot store any settings on the and buttons for adjusting the reclined and standard positions.

Calling up

The rear seat is selected if the indicator lamp in the button does not light up.

Vehicles without reclining rear seat: press preset position button

The seat is moved to the stored position. After releasing the button, the rear seat is automatically moved into the stored position.

Vehicles with reclining rear seat: press one of preset position buttons

The seat is moved to the stored position. After releasing the button, the rear seat is automatically moved into the stored position.
