Calling up navigation instructions on the driver display

Driver display:

Changing the scale of the selected map view

Distance to the change of direction

Road to which the change of direction leads

Display of traffic incident

Currently selected route

Display of vehicle's current position

Change-of-direction symbol

Recommended lane (white)

Lane not recommended (grey)

Current lane

The level of detail in the navigation instructions on the left-hand display range may vary.

To zoom into and out of the map directly:

swipe upwards or downwards on the left-hand Touch Control.

If you do not carry out any other operations within a limited time after activating the autozoom, the view will change back to the map scale already set for the selected map view. The setting for whether the map scale is shown permanently or only during zooming on the driver display can be found in the MBUX multimedia system More.

The following functions are available on the Options submenu:

Select route guidance
With active route guidance: end route guidance
Map settings
Set display content as the standard display More

If the current route guidance is ended on the Navigation menu of the driver display, it will also be ended on the Navigation menu of the MBUX multimedia system.

On the Options submenu, you can use other functions in the Destinations and Map settings categories.

You can use the following functions in the Destinations category:

Call up previous destinations and favourites.
Start new route guidance to a favourite.

The two options Work and Home will be displayed in Favourites even if no address is stored.

You can use the following functions in the Map settings category:

Activate auto zoom.
Set the map view, satellite view and route overview.

The following map views are available on the Navigation menu:

Entire route
2D direction of travel
2D north orientation
3D map
