When AIRSCARF is switched on, very hot air can flow from the outlet opening in the head restraints.
This could result in burns in the immediate vicinity of the outlet opening.
The power supply is switched on.

AIRSCARF warms the head and neck area of vehicle occupants with warm air. The warm air flows out of the vents in the head restraints.

Depending on the heating level, up to three indicator lamps will light up.

If all the indicator lamps are off, AIRSCARF is switched off.
When switching on, the blower will start up only after a preheating phase lasting a few seconds.
After switching off, the blower will continue to run for a few seconds to cool down the heating elements.
If the vehicle battery voltage is too low, AIRSCARF may switch off.
Make sure that there are no objects covering the intake grille on the back of the head restraint.
