Preparing the vehicle for a wheel change
Requirements
The tyre-change tool kit is available.
The vehicle is not on a slope.
The vehicle is on solid, non-slippery and level ground.
Apply the parking brake.
Move the front wheels to the straight-ahead position.
Shift the transmission to position

. Switch off the drive system.
Make sure that the drive system cannot be started.
On level terrain:
place chocks or other suitable objects under the front and rear of the wheel that is diagonally opposite the wheel to be changed. On slight inclines:
place chocks or other suitable objects under the wheels on the front and rear axles opposite the wheel to be changed. 
If included in the vehicle equipment, take the tyre-change tool kit out of the vehicle tool kit More.
If included in the vehicle equipment, remove the spare wheel from the spare wheel bracket More.
If necessary, remove the wheel cover.
Using the wheel wrench, loosen the wheel nuts/bolts on the wheel you wish to change by about one full turn. Do not unscrew the wheel bolts/nuts completely.
Raise the vehicle More.
