After the vehicle has been delivered or after repairs, the sensor system of certain driving systems and certain driving safety systems adjust themselves automatically after the vehicle has been driven a certain distance. Full system effectiveness is not reached until the end of this teach-in process.
New or exchanged brakepads, brake discs and tyres only provide optimal braking and bonding after several hundred kilometres. Until then, compensate for the reduced braking effect by applying greater pressure to the brake pedal.
