Parking the vehicle
WARNING Risk of accident and injury due to children left unattended in the vehicle
If children are left unsupervised in the vehicle, they could, in particular:
open doors, thereby endangering other persons or road users.
get out and be struck by oncoming traffic.
operate vehicle equipment and become trapped, for example.
In addition, the children could also set the vehicle in motion, for example by:
releasing the parking brake.
changing the transmission position.
starting the vehicle.
Never leave children unattended in the vehicle.
When leaving the vehicle, always take the key with you and lock the vehicle.
Keep the vehicle key out of reach of children.
NOTE Damage to the vehicle or the drivetrain due to rolling away
Always park your vehicle safely and according to legal requirements.
Always properly secure the vehicle against rolling away.
WARNING Risk of accident and injury if parking brake is not applied
If you park the vehicle with the transmission in park position 
and the parking brake is not engaged, the vehicle may roll away.
Engaging park position is not a fully adequate replacement for the parking brake.
There is a risk of accident and injury!
Secure the vehicle against rolling away as described below.
Observe the following points to ensure that the vehicle is properly secured against rolling away unintentionally:
always apply the parking brake.
On uphill or downhill inclines:
turn the front wheels towards the kerb. Shift the transmission to position .
