Selecting neutral N
WARNING Risk of accident and injury when neutral position engaged
The vehicle can roll away if the parking brake is not applied and you park the vehicle with the neutral position 
engaged.
There is a risk of accident and injury.
Before parking the vehicle, apply the parking brake.
Press the brake pedal and the DIRECT SELECT lever upwards or downwards to the first point of resistance.
Transmission position display is shown in the multifunction display.
Releasing the brake pedal will allow you to move the vehicle freely, e.g. to push it or tow it.
If the transmission should also stay in neutral when the ignition is switched off, carry out the following:
when the ignition is switched off, carry out the following: Start the vehicle.
depress the brake pedal and engage neutral .
. release the brake pedal.
Switch off the ignition.
If you then exit the vehicle leaving the key in the vehicle, the transmission remains in neutral .
