Care and cleaning products containing solvents can cause surfaces in the cockpit to become porous. When the airbags are deployed, plastic parts may break away.
Bleaching or dyeing seat belts can severely weaken them.
This can, for example, cause seat belts to tear or fail in an accident.
To prevent damage to the vehicle, observe the following notes for cleaning and care:
Clean with lukewarm soapy water.
Do not use chemical cleaning agents.
No heating over 80°C or drying in direct sunlight.
Clean the surfaces carefully with a cotton or microfibre cloth and acrylic glass care products.
Do not use any other agents.
Switch off the display and let it cool down.
Clean the surface carefully with a microfibre cloth and a suitable display cleaning product (TFT-LCD).
Do not use any other agents.
Clean the mirror glass with a cloth moistened with glass cleaner.
Clean the light sensors of the inside rearview mirror with a dry cotton cloth.
Do not spray the glass cleaner on the mirror glass.
Do not use any other agents.
Clean with a damp microfibre cloth.
If very dirty: use a cleaning product recommended for Mercedes-Benz.
Do not affix stickers, films or similar.
Do not allow to come into contact with cosmetics, insect repellent and sun creams.
Clean with a brush or dry shampoo.
Use a carpet and textile cleaning agent recommended for Mercedes-Benz.
Clean with a damp cloth and then wipe with a dry cloth.
Leather care: use a leather care agent recommended for Mercedes-Benz.
Do not allow the leather to become too damp.
Do not use a microfibre cloth.
Clean with a damp cloth and 1% soapy water.
Do not use a microfibre cloth.
Clean with a damp microfibre cloth and 1% soap solution and allow to dry.
Clean with a damp cloth and a 1% soapy water solution and then wipe with a dry cloth.
If very dirty: use a cleaning product recommended for Mercedes-Benz.
Leather care: use a leather care agent recommended for Mercedes-Benz.
Do not allow the leather to become too damp.
Do not use a microfibre cloth.
Leather is a natural product. It has natural surface characteristics, for example, differences in structure, traces of growth and injury or slight colour nuances.
Clean with a microfibre cloth.
Black piano-lacquer look: clean with a damp cloth and soapy water.
If very dirty: use a cleaning product recommended for Mercedes-Benz.
Do not use solvent-based cleaning agents, polishes or waxes.
