Adjusting the head restraint electrically
NOTE Damage to the electrical head restraint when adjusted manually
If the height of the electrically adjustable head restraint is adjusted manually, this can damage the mechanism of the head restraint.
Adjust the height of the electrically adjustable head restraints using the buttons in the door trim.
Requirements:
The ignition is switched on or the door is open.
To adjust the height:
slide the button 
up or down in the direction of the arrow. To move forwards:
pull the head restraint forwards until it engages in the desired position. To move backwards:
press and hold down the release knob 
and slide the head restraint backwards to the desired position. If the ignition is not switched on, you can adjust the head restraint height within 30 seconds of unlocking the vehicle.
