Priming/deactivating the interior motion sensor
Requirements:
The side windows are closed.
The doors are closed.
The tailgate is closed.
Priming
Make sure that nothing (such as mascots or coat hangers) is hanging on the rear-view mirror or on the grab handles. This will prevent false alarms.
Lock the vehicle with the key.
The interior motion sensor is primed after approximately 20 seconds.
Deactivating
Unlock the vehicle with the key.
or
Insert the key into the ignition lock.
The interior motion sensor automatically switches off.
Deactivating
Remove the key from the ignition lock.
Press button

. When the button is released, indicator lamp 
in the button lights up for approximately three seconds.
Lock the vehicle with the key.
The interior motion sensor is deactivated.
The interior motion sensor remains deactivated until you lock the vehicle again.
Deactivate the interior motion sensor when locking your vehicle in the following situations:
if there are people or animals remaining inside
when transporting the vehicle on a ferry or car transporter, for example
This will prevent false alarms.
