Setting Active Brake Assist
Requirements:
The ignition is switched on.
Multimedia system:
The following settings are available:
Early
Medium
Late
Off
It is recommended that Active Brake Assist is always left activated.
Select a setting.
The last active setting is selected automatically every time the engine is started.
Exception: if the last setting was Off, the Medium setting will be automatically activated the next time the engine is started.
Deactivating Active Brake Assist
It is recommended that Active Brake Assist is always left activated.
Select Off.
The distance warning function and autonomous braking function are deactivated.
The next time the engine is started, the Medium setting will be automatically activated.
When Active Brake Assist is deactivated, the 
symbol appears in the status area of the multifunction display.
