Selecting a profile may trigger an adjustment of the driver's seat to the position saved under the profile. You or other vehicle occupants could be injured in the process.
If there is a risk of someone becoming trapped, stop the adjustment process immediately:
The adjustment process is stopped.
Automatic seat adjustment is activated.
When the active user profile is changed while the vehicle is stationary, the driver's seat, steering wheel, outside mirrors and seat contour will automatically be adapted to the driver.
This setting is available only for individual user profiles. For the guest profile, automatic seat adjustment cannot be switched on or off. Further information about user profiles More.
The vehicle calculates a suitable driver's seat and steering wheel position on the basis of the driver's body size and sets this immediately.
The driver's seat and steering wheel position is adjusted to the body size that has been set.
If the driver's seat and steering wheel position calculated by the vehicle is not practical or comfortable, it can be manually changed at any time via the control buttons.
The outside mirrors are not set via this function. Instead, they have to be set manually via the control switches.
You can also make these settings via the Mercedes me portal for your user profile. By synchronising the profiles in the vehicle and the Mercedes me connect profiles, you can carry over these settings for your vehicle. Further information about synchronising user profiles More.
