Vehicles with belt airbags: when securing a child in a child restraint system on an outer rear seat, it is essential to observe the following instructions:

Only use a child restraint system approved by Mercedes-Benz.
Observe the notes in "Overview of recommended child restraint systems" More.
Secure a rearward-facing child restraint system with the ISOFIX or the i-Size child seat securing system.
Secure a forward-facing child restraint system with the ISOFIX or the i-Size child seat securing system and, if present, the Top Tether anchorage.

If it is absolutely necessary for you to fit a child restraint system to the front passenger seat, be sure to observe the information on child restraint systems on the front passenger seat.
Observe the specific instructions for the rearward-facing and forward-facing child restraint systems. If the front passenger seat is occupied, ensure, both before and during the journey, that the status of the front passenger front airbag is correct for the current situation.
