Starting with a Digital Vehicle Key
WARNING Risk of accident and injury due to children left unattended in the vehicle
If children are left unattended in the vehicle, they could:

Information about suitable mobile phones can be obtained from your Mercedes-Benz service centre or at Mercedes-Benz mobile homepage.

Mercedes-Benz recommends that you carry the emergency key in case of function restrictions.

The function is only available in combination with Mercedes me connect and only in certain countries.

Protective cases around the mobile phone can impair the range of functions.

Using the Digital Vehicle Key for the first time
Make sure that there is a valid vehicle key in the vehicle.
Depress the brake pedal and start the vehicle using the start/stop button.
Any further starts with the Digital Vehicle Key

The key is not needed for any further starts.

The "Digital Vehicle Key" service can be deactivated in Mercedes me connect at Mercedes me homepage. The function is then deactivated in the mobile phone via an online connection. If connection to the Internet is not possible, e.g. after the mobile phone or the Digital Vehicle Key sticker has been stolen, the key function can be deactivated at a Mercedes-Benz service centre.
