Using LINGUATRONIC for In-Car Office

With LINGUATRONIC voice control you can operate various functions of In-Car Office and speak in text contents.

The following are examples of some voice commands that you can use to operate In-Car Office.

To write new e-mail:

say the LINGUATRONIC voice command Write an e-mail.

You are guided by the dialogue.

To show tasks:

use the LINGUATRONIC voice command What is my task?.

The tasks are displayed.

To create a calendar entry:

use the LINGUATRONIC voice command Create an appointment.

You are guided by the dialogue.

Using the dictation function for In-Car Office

The dictation function allows you to dictate text content, such as the subject or body of an e-mail, instead of typing the content using the keyboard.

The dictation function is not available everywhere nor without limitation. For initial activation of the function it may be necessary to select the terms of use in the Mercedes me Portal.

The following is an example of how you can dictate the subject and body of an e-mail.

To write a new e-mail:

after you have opened

a new e-mail in the E-mail menu and specified a recipient

, you can start using the

dictation function and speak the subject or text of the e-mail.

After the voice entry has been processed, it is shown as text.

The e-mail is only sent when you select Send.
