Using securing systems for child restraint systems
Only secure children in a child restraint system which is suitable and recommended for Mercedes-Benz vehicles and which is appropriate for the age, weight and size of the child.
If possible, fit the child restraint system to a rear seat.
Only use the seat belt system, ISOFIX securing rings or Top Tether anchorages as securing systems for child restraint systems.
Install the ISOFIX child restraint system on both of the vehicle's mounting brackets.
Top Tether anchorages are located on the back of the rear bench seat on the bench seat legs.
If necessary, move the head restraint upwards.
Fit the ISOFIX child restraint system with Top Tether. Comply with the child restraint system manufacturer's installation instructions when doing so.
