Deactivating the park pawl manually (vehicles with front wheel drive)
Vehicles with automatic transmission and front wheel drive: in the event of damage to the electrics, the automatic transmission may be locked in position

Mechanical park pawl deactivation is only possible on automatic vehicles with front wheel drive.
Requirements:
you require the release tool from the vehicle tool kit More.
Apply the parking brake.
Open the bonnet More.
Attach the release tool 
to the transmission 
and turn in the direction of the arrow.
