Connecting a mobile phone via Android Auto (wired)

Requirements:

The mobile phone supports Android Auto from Android 5.0.
The Android Auto app is installed on the mobile phone.
In order to use the telephone functions, the mobile phone must be connected to the multimedia system via Bluetooth®More.
If there was no prior Internet connection, this is established with the use of the mobile phone with Android Auto.
The mobile phone is connected to the multimedia system via the USB port using a suitable cable More.
There is an Internet connection for the full range of functions for Android Auto.

Multimedia system:

Accepting or rejecting the data protection regulations

For the initial start of the application: a message with the data protection provisions appears.

Select Accept & start.

The first activation of Android Auto on the multimedia system must be carried out when the vehicle is stationary for safety reasons.

Exiting Android Auto

Press the

button.

You can return to Android Auto by pressing the Android Auto icon in the main menu.

Alternative: If an Android Auto application is active (e.g. when music is being played or route guidance is active), you can call up the active application using the

application buttons More.

Control using the application buttons can be switched on or off More.
