With the "Mercedes-Benz Guides" app you always have access to information relevant to the operation of your vehicle even when on the road. You can use the integrated search function to find the topics you want quickly and easily. Short animated films help you to learn more about the new assistance systems. The app is available free-of-charge in the iTunes and Google Play stores for your smartphone and tablet. We are constantly expanding and updating its content.

The "Mercedes-Benz Guides" app allows you to access the Operator's Manuals for the current model series. The contents are continually being updated and expanded. This means that the app is always one step ahead of the printed Operator's Manual, as updates and modifications are always available immediately.

The "Mercedes-Benz Guides" app is clearly and intuitively structured. When you start the app for the first time, select the guide for your preferred vehicle model. Go through the various options and select, for example, the model series, model variant, model change year and audio system. You are then given the choice of viewing the guide online or downloading it to view offline. You can add more vehicle models at any time by selecting "+" in "My Guides". "My Guides" is where all your downloads are stored. You can sort or delete the guides here. You can also add more vehicle models by selecting "+".

Under this menu item you can find the highlights of the individual vehicles which can be viewed in the form of animations and films. For some model series you can take a look behind the scenes in the form of a "making-of" or a history film.

A text search can be performed via the "Search" menu item and the magnifying glass symbol. The text search enables you to gain swift and direct access to the desired contents of the guide. Enter the desired search term in the search window and your search term will be supplemented by suggestions. A search history in the form of a list of your last search entries is also displayed. Please note that, depending on the settings of your smartphone or tablet, the device's own predictive text entry may be activated. This function may suggest words which are irrelevant to the topic.

"Quick Start" and "Tips" give you a brief overview of how to operate the vehicle and valuable tips for more fuel-efficient driving. From getting in to connecting your telephone using the COMAND system, the most important processes, functions and controls are shown and explained clearly. You can also find assistance with vehicle-relevant topics, such as measuring tyre pressures or stowing the warning triangle.

If you download one or more of the Mercedes-Benz Guides, you can also use the relevant guides offline. Films are only offered via streaming due to the large quantity of data. Depending on your data tariff plan, it may be necessary to download these when connected to a Wi-Fi network.

In the "Settings" menu, you can select the app language for Owner's Manual content.
