Transmitted data with the Mercedes-Benz emergency call system
The following data is transmitted to the Mercedes-Benz emergency call centre:
the vehicle's GPS position data
the last GPS position data on the route (a few hundred metres before the incident)
direction of travel
vehicle identification number
the vehicle drive type
the estimated number of people in the vehicle
whether Mercedes me connect is available or not
whether the emergency call was initiated manually or automatically
the time of the accident
the language setting on the multimedia system
For accident clarification purposes, the following measures can be taken up to an hour after the emergency call has been initiated:
the current vehicle position can be called up
a voice connection to the vehicle occupants can be established
