Demisting the windows

Windows misted up on the inside

Press the

button.

When windscreen demisting is switched on, the temperature and airflow cannot be adjusted.

In vehicles with a heating system and a manual air-conditioning system, also close the side and centre air vents More as well as the air vents for the rear compartment More.

Vehicles with TEMPMATIC or THERMOTRONIC:

press the

button and, if necessary, use the

button to direct the air onto the windscreen

Increase the airflow as necessary and close all air vents More.

If the windows remain misted up: press the

button.

When windscreen demisting is switched on, the temperature and airflow cannot be adjusted.

or no symbol will appear on the climate control system display.

Vehicles with a windscreen heater:

press the

button.

Close the centre air vents More and air vents for the headroom More and rear compartment More.
